I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief and Joy

I am having a lot of fun thinking through responses to your questions... keep those questions coming! In the meantime, definitely head to Amazon and check out Angie Smith's new book...

I am so excited for her and can't wait to get my hands on this and read it. The title just captured my heart... this whole thing is such a dance, such a balance, of grief and joy. And it is sacred, that's for sure. I obviously haven't read this book yet, but would say with confidence that it is going to be incredible. Hop on over to Amazon and pre-order it... for yourself, for someone you know who has lost a child... I know you won't be disappointed.

You have touched my heart with your writing. Today would have been our son's 16th birthday. We held him for 2 days here on earth and we are looking forward to a HUGE birthday party someday in Heaven. God held us in our hearbreak and continues to wrap His arms around us. The feelings you express are often times the same ones I have felt. I look forward to reading Angie's book and I wanted to thank you for sharing.

I too can't wait to get my hands on Angi's book. The line between grief and happiness is so thin and losing our little ones definitely brings us to that crossroad. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your new pregnancy news with us Stacy. Not sure if you've checked my blog lately but I too am pregnant with a little girl due in Feb. It's so exciting but yet I find myself comparing this pregnancy to 2 years ago. I have shed lots of tears but am so grateful to God for giving us another chance to be parents again. Thinking of you and praying for you.

Thanks for posting this. I cannot wait to read this!! Ever since I lost my girls I have been searching for a book that talked about losing your child and having faith and could never find what I was looking for. I follow her blog and already know that I'm going to love it.

I am sure the book is just as moving as the song by her Daddy. Thank you so much for making me aware of it.
