I pray you & Spencer are able to enjoy the blessings while allowing the tears to flow when grief strikes at unexpected moments. I know you don't know me irl, but I have thought of and prayed often for you and am so very thankful that Ellie has gotten here safe and sound. I've also wondered what kind of secrets her big brother whispered to her right before she was placed in your arms. I imagined that he told her "you're gonna love these parents of ours - they rock!" :-) I'm sure they'll be whispering lots of secrets to each other over the years, as I believe the closest thing between us and God (aside from our personal relationship with Him) is a baby.
