Newborn Photo Shoot

This past Saturday we had our newborn photo shoot with Crissie Traugott, the same photographer who shot Isaac's Golf Tournament and who did our maternity pictures a few weeks ago.

Eliana was supposed to be good and sleepy during the shoot, but most of the time she was so alert! Crissie did get some great shots, though, in teh few moments Ellie actually was asleep.

Anyhow, here's a sneak peek of a few of the shots... I love the last two in particular!

    Awww...what sweet photos. My daughter, Zoe, was the same way during her newborn shoot...wide awake. Funny how that happens! LOL. Eliana is gorgeous. I love all the photos!

    I think it's nice that Eli has her 'own' look- so different from her brother's. It's hard for young children to be constantly compared to siblings- they are who they are in their own right. Whether Eli is asleep or awake, her photos are cute and done very well. I know you and your husband are thrilled beyond words that your dream baby is finally here!

    Oh my, what a gorgeous baby girl!! Her hair is so dark and lovely.

    Hang in there. Having a newborn is just plain tough. When mine were b/w 2 and 6 weeks they were always fussy in the evenings and night time. I never knew if it was gas, fatigue etc... They settle down easier at night time after 6 weeks I think.
