10,000

I received word yesterday that because of your generosity, over $10,000 has now been raised for the construction of Isaac's playground at our church.

Thank you.

Your generosity speaks volumes to me about the fact that my son's life matters to you. That's the greatest gift.... for a parent to know that her child matters and has had an impact on the lives of others.

Thank you for continuing to pray for us, cry with us, encourage us, and carry us. We are so grateful...

Oh Stacy, Isaac matters and will always matter for that fact! He has touched more lives than you or I may ever know. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you in person, however I follow your blog and read it almost daily. You truly are an inspiration and Isaac a true miracle and blessing. I am so thankful to you for sharing your sweet boy with the rest of us. Your faith, strength and conviction is amazing. Your story has definitely brought me closer to God. Praying for you this holiday season.

Stacy,
Your child matters so much to me even though we have never met and live on opposite sides of the country. I just sent in my donation (from Hawaii) two days ago, so I doubt it's reached the church yet, but I am so glad to know that you are surrounded by so many loving and caring people. Continuing to pray for you.

I can only imagine that Isaac would be so happy to know that so many care about him...that love will be echoed in the laughs of children who use that playground. What a special way to honor a little guy who touched so many.
Still praying for you all.

I am so touched by your words and your on going life story. I feel like I was there with you through it all. I feel the hurt and the sadness and the emptyness. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but things do get a little better with time. I have experienced my fair share of miscarriages and lost a baby in 2004. I now have a beautiful son who will be 2 the day after christmas this year, so I do know without a doubt that miracles can and do happen.
I think about you and your family often and you are in my prayers.
God bless you through this holiday season.

Stacy and Spencer- this is wonderful news and what a wonderful way to remember and think of sweet little Isaac! It is so wonderful that other little toddlers will be able to play on Isaac's playground and that their parents taking them there will remember and think of little Isaac and his journey!

Hi Stacy,

I found your blog through my friend Erin W's blog, and I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. Your baby boy is SO beautiful. I've been reading your blog for a while now and praying for you. I had a good friend in May who delivered a stillborn baby boy. You both have been very open with your pain and grief and I'm sure that is not easy, but what a blessing for others. I've had two miscarriages myself, and it is healing to read your words. I know that in no way compares to your pain. I just wanted to let you know I'll continue reading and praying.
Love,
Kate

Thank you for sharing your story, for sharing Issac with us. I pray that 2009 will bring much happiness and above all peace for you.

Please take care.
