We're Back {with a few requests}

Spencer and talked a lot after so many of you contacted me asking to continue to follow my blog. First, I just would like to say that I so much appreciate your interest in our family, and all of the kinds words that were shared about how Isaac's life has impacted you and those around you.

So, because we deeply desire for the Lord to continue to use Isaac's story (and perhaps I just can't seem to make up my mind lately!) we decided that I would go ahead and keep my blog public.

However, I would like to request that for those of you who also blog:

Please respected the fact that what is shared her is deeply personal, and do not use any content on your own blog (to include post titles, parts of posts, photos, etc) without my permission. While my blog is not officially copyrighted, I would hope that those of you reading who also blog would be respectful of the fact that these are my words and thoughts, and not use them as your own. As you can imagine, it is disheartening to see others use your own content and pass it off as their own... particularly on a topic that is so sensitive and personal.

So with that.... we're "live" once again. :) I hope you will continue to join us here!

Glad you are back but also sorry that content has been "stolen" from your blog in the past. How do you even find out about stuff like that? As a blogger who is a little clueless about what might be happening out there - it is scary to think that people actually do that!!

I am so glad that you have decided to keep the blog open for all to read. I know that I have been deeply touched by your story and even though I haven't met you in person I couldn't imagine not being able to stay updated!

I am so glad you decided to go public again. Your blog, Issac's story and your family have touched me so much. Issac's purpose to me was to help me get closer to God. For Issac, I will be forever grateful. I know sharing your life (and your beautiful family) with the world is daunting, but it made a difference in my life. And for that, I thank you!

There are a handful of Mom's and babies in Blogland who have shaped who I am as a mother. You have NO idea how much your family has shaped mine and others. Having said that, I hope you continue to be happy blogging, not blogging, little blogging, a lot of blogging... whatever makes you happy. Thanks for what you've shared thus far.

so glad you are back ~ I have always enjoyed following your blog. And have referred patients to read it when they are going through a similar situation as you did with Issac...to see a way to honor their child and to give them a hope for the future.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

I am glad you are back. I went to catch up on your blog and it was gone. I did not see the post that you went private. I totally understand that. I do not comment a lot, but I have emailed you before thanking you for what you do for so many people long time ago, I am happy that I can still log on and see your beautiful family. Welcome back, and Thank you for allowing us to share with you your story.

I am happy to see that you are blogging again, but I understand the reasons behind private settings. I have followed your blog for several years and have kept you and your family in my prayers. Glad to see you back!

It's so good to see you back. I was so worried - I have been reading your blog for years and I must have missed the announcement that you were going private! Can't wait to see pics of the kiddos - I am sure they are getting big!

Stacy, I just recently found your blog. I lost my daughter 2 weeks ago due to placental abruption. She was just 21 weeks gestation, but perfect. Your blog from around the time you lost Issac has been helpful in the past few days. It's nice to know that what I'm feeling is "normal" My daughter is named Eliana....just like your little girl. For this reason (and your strong faith), I felt more drawn to your blog than some of the others. Thanks for being brave enough to talk openly about the tough times.

Stacy- today was my first time on your blog, as I have been making an effort to find resources and stories to support me through my pregnancy with a baby girl with a fatal birth defect. The pictures and tributes you have of and for Issac are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Its affirming to know there have been people who have made the decision to carry and have loved and memorialized their babies like I want to do.
