Like many of you, the past couple of weeks have been quite busy...Spencer's graduate work, Christmas shopping, working on Eliana's room, doctor's appointments, finishing up paperwork for the Isaac Delisle Foundation. So, to catch you up with life in the Delisle house over the past few weeks, here are some pictures of our more exciting moments...
I wrote a little while back about starting to work on Eliana's room and how Spencer did a fabulous job painting and setting up her furniture. Clearly, we have a long way to go before it is finished, but it's at least at the point where we can start adding shelves, decorations, curtains, and all. I wish you could see this shade of pink in person... it's really beautiful.
Maryland also got it's first snow of the 2009-2010 season! And, a fairly substantial one at that. Around here, "substantial" would mean that you don't see the blades of grass poking through the snow :) Apparently, we're supposed to have a pretty snowy winter, which is GREAT in my book, since I will not be returning to work for the rest of the school year after Eliana is born in March!
In the midst of all that was going on, I realized we didn't have any good pictures taken from this past year. Maybe it was because I wasn't much for photos... I don't know. So, in front of our FRIEND'S Christmas tree (because ours is STILL not decorated!) we snapped this shot for our annual Christmas card.
My scanner is acting up this morning, so I don't have any updated ultrasound pictures for you. We got some great 4-D shots last time! I'll get those up soon... once my Christmas cards have finished being addressed and are in the mail :)

Stacy- Did you redo Isaac's room for Elaina?? Just wondering if so how it was for you. After I lost my baby girl we left everything the same, until I found out I was excpecting another baby girl. The bedding- fabrics- nothing bothered me until the painters came and my husband teared up and then of course I did too. Hard to see her "covered up." Just wondering-
Paige~ Since we found out so early in my pregnancy that Isaac would most likely not be with us for long, we never set up a nursery... never did any of those things you "usually" do when planning for your baby's arrival. Instead, we planned for the few precious moments we'd have with him in the hospital, and began planning for how to honor him through a memorial service, etc.
It was still difficult to start doing Eliana's room... it felt like we were doing all the things we "should" have been able to do for Isaac, but didn't have the opportunity to. That alone was really hard.
I love the picture in the show. What a great, thoughtful idea.
Also, you look great right now! You just glow in that last photo!
Love the color of the nursery! So pretty and girly. I just wanted to tell you that you look gorgeous in your 25 week belly shot. Just gorgeous!
The room is beautiful. The safety freak in me noticed the blinds, particularly the cords near the crib. You might consider purchasing a safety device for the cords, or even purchasing cordless shades. Your little girl will be pulling herself up before you know it. :)
Peace.
Stacy,
You look stunning pregnant! I felt bigger the second time around too, but that's also because I never entirely lost all the baby weight after Dylan was born.

You look so beautiful. :-) I love the idea of writing Isaac's name in the snow, and having a picture for all seasons. Because I live in Southern California, we have ONE season...so I can't exactly write Vivian and Annemarie's names in the snow. But I did a beach pic over Thanksgiving, and have that up plus Carly's pics.
Again, you look gorgeous. You are glowing!
Stacy, the room looks beautiful and I think Isaac's name written for each season is such a lovely way to acknowledge his presence with you through the year. Of course he is always with you, as the seasons change.
You look gorgeous!
Love,

You look beautiful, Stacy! I do love that shade of pink. It's very cheery! Also, awesome idea from whomever about the name in the snow. What a neat tribute to Isaac. :)
mommy you are so beautiful
I love all the pictures. Eliana's room looks so cute already, you look beautiful, and how cool to do Isaac's name in the snow. I might have to steal that idea to rotate the pictures with the seasons.
The nursery looks so beautiful, Stacy. I love that pink color.
Living in Maryland myself, I am excited about the prospect of a snowy winter.
You look amazing. I am pregnant with my second(a girl!) as well due in March. I also feel big but look about the same as with my son.
Since we both have girls coming in March and live in Maryland, we should get together in the late spring/early summer for a play date :)

it all looks beautiful!! And what a cute Christmas card picture!
You are glowing in your belly shot :) - and I am sure Isaac is smiling down on you waiting for the arrival of his baby sister.
You look great Stacy. I get so teary eyed everytime I read your blog. Sometimes happy tears and sometimes sad. Today they are happy tears, as you look happy in your pictures! Isaac will never be forgotten. I continue to pray for your family.

Stacy, I love that you have a photo from each season and will rotate them. What a wonderful idea! :)
The shade of pink for Eliana's room is quite lovely! I bet it is even prettier in person like you said!
Such a cute baby belly! No doubt there are busy times for both of you. I hope that you enjoy this Christmas season!
Elaina's room color is beautiful, it looks so nice and soft.
And I love the idea for rotating the pictures of Isaac's name.
