Twenty-four hours from now, golfers will be finishing up their round and heading inside for a good meal and to hear the story of a sweet 4lb 12 oz strawberry blonde-haired little boy who has changed thousands of lives. As I was thinking today about Isaac and his life and legacy, I just find it so fascinating that God would use such a sweet little person to touch the hearts of many... a little person who never spoke a word, or even ushered a breath... but whose life is a testimony to the goodness of the heart of God. Because while redemption didn't come on this side of heaven like we so hoped and prayed that it would, redemption has come... and Isaac is fully redeemed. That is the message of hope that we desire to share with the 104 golfers and 30 dinner guests who will be joining us tomorrow.
A few specific things we could use prayer for...
1- the WEATHER! I'll be honest... the forecast is just lousy. Please pray that the rain would hold off.
2- For my and Spencer's hearts as the event unfolds... I know it will be a bittersweet thing.
3- For Spencer as he prepares to speak before this crowd of people who will be there.
4- For God to soften and move in the hearts of the men and women who are gathered... that He would cause them to think seriously about the question of eternity, the sanctity of life, and who God desires to be in each of their lives.
5- For God to be honored, and Isaac to be lovingly remembered.
Thank you for praying... I will be sure to post photos afterwards!!

I will be praying for your big event tomorrow. The reason why Isaac made such a difference is because of his wonderful Mother... YOU! You are such an inspiration and wonderful mom.
I will be praying for you tomorrow! Also I hate to post something so very sad but I felt like I needed to ask people that truly know how this kind of loss feels and will be to pray more appropriate for this sweet family. It is on my latest blog entry..if you have time, will you please lift this family up in your prayers. Thank you so much!!!! http://www.buckinghamsblog.blogspot.com/
Thinking of and praying for you all. It will be a bittersweet day, I'm sure.
So proud of the way you have performed that which God has called you to do, from carrying Isaac hismself, to carrying out the work of this tournament. I can't wait to see how it unfolds, and I can't wait to join you next summer.
Hi there. I have been a silent reader for a long time. Since before Isaac's birth. :) I've been praying for you.
I just wanted to let you know- I have a student in my Kindergarten class named Isaac. And I think of you and your Isaac daily!
Cannot wait to see the pictures.
Enjoy the day gloriously! x
what a wonderful day! will be praying for your family and all the people there.
Love to see you giving God glory through your sad time - I too, have a daughter in Heaven - she was 48 hours old when she went to Jesus - it's hard to let go....
God be with you during this event.
Love,
Kelly

Of course I will be praying! I can't wait to hear the good news and see pictures! You will both be lifted up tomorrow!
I'm so touched by your event. Though this has been planned to honor Isaac, I also feel like it honors my Nate and all of our babies up in Heaven. It gives purpose to their lives and reminds people that they are still our children, even if they aren't here with us on earth.
Hugs!
Trisha
Praying- I'm fighting tears just looking upon Isaac's sweet face once again- What a dear soul he is- and how much joy he must bring to our Father in heaven!
Lots of prayers for you all!! I'm so gad that the vent is finally here and little Isaac will b honored! Cant wait to hear all about it!
I will be praying for you and I am so excited for you. I know that you are looking forward to this and have worked really hard! This is awesome!
I'm so glad you guys are doing this! It's going to be great. I will pray for Isaac's event tonight-thanks for listing the specifics.
Praying!
I just found your blog today. Let me tell you how inspiring it is and how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I just lost my son on the 24th of last month and am beginning my walk through grief. Your blog along with the others I have encountered give me hope. I just wanted to let you know that.
Stacy I'm praying for you and Spencer. I'm praying for good weather for the event and I'm sorry I can't be there (but I'm lousy at golf and I'm a girl) so next week I will run in his honor instead xx
I hope that your big event is a huge success, and that while the day will surely be, as you said, "bittersweet", you and your husband can find joy and comfort through the "bitter" parts from the knowledge that you have honored your child in such an amazing way.
Praying for every detail of this day...just finished praying over your list, dear friend. And will keep praying. May you and Spencer both be greatly blessed today...and may Isaac be lovingly remembered. May the Lord's presence shine forth in and through you...and may the sun shine on this day.
Love you...
Praying for you guys! I'm sure you won't sleep much tonight with the anticipation and a wide range of emotions swirling around but I just know you guys are going to have a great day tomorrow.
Isaace continues to touch the hearts and lives of so many thanks to his wonderful parents and the glory of God.
Good luck!
Praying for you and Spencer today.
Missy
You are in my prayers!
So exciting...... not only because its finally here. All the work and effort you have put in will be appreciated and complete. But because for this entire tournament not only will you as Isaac's parents be remembering and thinking of him, many will be and for those that wont or don't know the full story soon will. Isaac's face and photos will be all around tomorrow and God will be glorified..... so exciting.
Ill say a big prayer for all of you.
Smile proudly MAMA and DADDY.... its YOUR baby BOY that brings tomorrows events to all. BITTERSWEET is a great word.
Have a great time.
I can't wait to hear about the tournament! Rest well tonight!
Stacy,
Please pray for this family. They are Brooke, Joe, Annaleigh, Lily and Charlie. http://threecheersforbabies.blogspot.com. They just got the news that their little girl, Annaleigh will, in all likelihood, not last the night.
I'm certain that Brooke and Joe will need you guys in the next few months. As soon as I heard what was going on, my heart immediately leaped to you two and your Isaac.
God Bless, and I hope the tournament went wonderfully today.
I wait on the edge of my chair to hear good things....
