We had one of our "routine" ultrasounds today at the Maternal-Fetal Medicine group. The ultrasound tech was sweet, and when we went in, I asked her if she could get some good pictures for us. Here are a few, and I have no idea what that thing sticking out on the first one is...
And the ever famous thumbs up shot again...this time with an open hand.
We didn't get a chance to speak with the doctor because she was called out of the office for an emergency at the hospital, but I was able to later speak with her on the phone. She was able to address many of my questions, and was able to put my mind at ease a bit with regard to Isaac's omphalocele adhereing to the uterine wall. I explained my (unwarrented?) fear of needing an emergency hysterectomy, and she said that she didn't think that the fact that it was adhered would affect my body at all. This definitely came as a relief, though for some reason I still feel a little worried about it.
That's about it... not much else to report, but it was nice to get a chance to see Isaac today. Particularly those 4-D pictures!

Isaac is beautiful- I love looking at him. His shoulder and his precious little face- also his ear reminds me of your Dad's the way it curves over like his does. He looks so comfy and cozy. I'm so glad you shared these pictures!

I love those new pictures. Issac is so precious.
Thank you for sharing Isaac's life with us. I loved how warm and cozy he looks in your womb. He is so loved and I think he knows it.
I am praying for complete healing and will not stop.
"Again you will take up tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful." Jeremiah 31:4
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
You are in His tight grip. We will understand all of this suffering one day. Now we just beg for faith in the One Who is always faithful.
You are walking on water and people are watching. Isaac is drawing people to Jesus. May you rest in Christ's love as He sings over you with compassion.

Stacy,
I check your blog alot,I also read your letters to your son. My heart aches for you and i am praying for you and your family. The stregnth you are showing others and your faith is a beautiful gift and a legacy you can share with your son.Even though there are times when you are sad you can still look up at a beautiful rainbow and think about God. Thats the strength i see in you. That you can look at your sons Sonogram pictures and still feel joy. That is Strength. I pray God continues to sustain you in all the ways you need him right now.
