Whether this song reminds you of the movie Madagascar, or, if you're like me, days from your middle school years, one thing is for sure: it should officially be baby girl's theme song.
She is a serious wiggler!!
What has been really neat for me as a second time mom is to see how different she is, even now, from Isaac. If you've been reading a while, you know that Isaac loved Zazz... he just responded to it. There's no sugar in it, so I can't quite figure out what it was about it that he liked so much. But without fail, I would drink a Zazz, and he would wiggle.
Several people have asked if baby sister likes Zazz as much as Isaac. Nope! Not at all. She seems to respond best to sugar! Whether it's hot chocolate, lemonade, or peanut M&M's (but really, who doesn't love those?!), it doesn't matter. She seems to love it... a girl after my own heart!
One of my fears with this pregnancy has surrounded how I would be able to still love Isaac and be an ambassador of his legacy while fully loving this new little girl. As several moms of 2 or 3 kids have shared, each child is different... you love each of them completely, yet differently. Even now, I am beginning to see how that works, and God has been gracious in just guiding me through that.
Quick Carly update... she went in for screening yesterday and all was well. She is back home for now, and is hopeful of making it to 33 weeks on Tuesday! Praise God for his protection over their baby boy.

my mom told me throughout my second pregnancy that "no two kids are the same." her words have proven so true, as chloe is, other than their looks, night and day from her brother. it's amazing how much personality an almost 10 month can have!
i'm so happy for you and spencer and your new baby. praise be to our mighty God!
Awe, they are all different. My first was quiet, my second was a wiggler:)
Such a sweet but simple post. I'm sure you will have these comparisons for the rest of your pregnancy as every mom does but I'm sure it is just a little bittersweet when your first child is not here. Thinking of you!
Wonderful news about your friend Carly! Thanks for sharing.
Take care!
I think every mom feels that way the second time around. Once she is here you will wonder how you even thought that. Our capacity to love is so big.
It was the hardest thing to wrap my head around how I could ever love another child as much as the first....but then I realized that your heart isn't divided into sections, it simply grows with every wonderful addition to your life!
Congrats Stacy! Wigglers are the best!
Stacy - I had to laugh at the title of your post. In middle school my 3 best friends and I made up a dance to this AWESOME song!! And I still remember it. Maybe if you are lucky I will show it to you next time we get together. OR NOT.
Oh wow, I think I'm going to have that song stuck in my head ALL DAY! :) Thanks for the update Stacy, and I'm so glad you're baby girl is doing great! [The sugar was the "trigger" for both of mine too, but neither one of them were real big movers . . . which totally freaks me out!]
My pregnancies were polar opposites and keeping in tune, so are my two kids.
While I was pg with my son, there was a part of me that thought, there is no way I can feel for him what I feel for my daughter to the point where I was scared of what I would feel. One day, I realized that I loved them both the same amount but for who each of them was.
Congrats again and prayers for you.
I love "hearing" the excitement in your voice
Stacy,
When your new baby arrives and is in your arms, your love for Isaac will even multiply. You will see a littel bit of him in her every day. Some days it will make you realize even more so what you missed out of with him, but most of all you will just love being the mommy of two! You will love and appreciate everything about that little angel 1000x over!!
YAY! I had a boy first and a girl next. There were so many differences! She loved sugar too. Oh and by the way. I worried how I could fill my heart with even more love and it was so easy. You just do. What amazes me even more is that God loves us a million times more than we love our children. Ok, just a ramble! :-)
I am tickled pink for you!!
OMG!! I had no idea you were expecting again! I'm so happy for you!! YAY!!!!!

Praising the Lord for those wiggles! Gotta love them!!
I sang your post title. lol
I think that's awesome she wiggles around so much. I love those kicks!! I hope it isn't keeping you up at night. ;)
I think your heart grows with each child and you feel more love.
Stacey!
I have been away from the blogging world for a while and just found today that you and Spencer are expecting! I AM THRILLED for you guys! God is so faithful and I will continue to pray for ya'll and Little sister! My husband and I are also excpecting #2! A BOY! :o) His name is Will. They found a Choroid Plexus Cyst on his brain. Typically it is nothing to worry about and usually goes away before birth and won't cause brain damage. They will be doing another ultrasound next Friday to check it out again and depending on that, I may/may not be sent to UAB hospital for a more clearer ultrasound. Please pray for that. CONGRATULATIONS! :o)
That song was also a big hit on the McMamma web recently! Glad to hear baby girl is also a mover and shaker. Each pregnancy can be so different and each life is so special.

I am so glad that you are enjoying your pregnancy. I am pregnant with my second and also wonder how I will love this one as much as my first and I have gotten the same advice....no two kids are the same and your heart will be able to hold more love than you could ever imagine. YOu are a good mom Stacy and I know that you will still carry on Isaac's memory no matter what. Having another baby or several more babies, :) is not going to change that one bit!
People always asked my mom, who had four daughters, did she love them all differently or the same? She would say, "I love them all the same because of their differences."
I think that's a great way of putting it. I'm in my second pregnancy now and it is so very different than my last one. It's strange that I feel the differences already but I guess that's what makes each of us on this earth unique and special.
Praying for your special little girl : )
A mother's love is not divided but rather multiplied! Someone told me that when I had the same worries while pregnant with my second child and it is so true!
Congratulations!
I had the same fear upon having my second that I think we all as mothers have. How on earth are we ever going to love another child as much as we love our first born? I shared this fear with my mother who told me "with every child you have, you heart just grows" After my second was born - the first time I saw his little face, I COMPLETELY understood what she meant!!!
I am so happy for you and continue to pray for you daily!
Missy
How wonderful that you are having a little girl! I know big brother Isaac is keeping watch over you and your family!
I am glad that your baby girl is doing so well. I am looking forward to hearing the names that you have picked for her.
Just popping in to let you know I am reading and thinking of you and praying for you!
Sarah
How sweet! :-) They do say girls are made of "SUGAR and spice and everything nice"...smile. I'm so glad the Lord is blessing you to bond with your precious baby. I'm so very happy for you!
BTW---now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head. LOL.
