10

I feel like now an "official" countdown can begin.

10 days until Eliana's birthday.

In the spirit of a New Year's Eve type of countdown, each day between now and March 4th I plan on posting a specific way (in addition to praying daily for God's protection of Eliana, along with her safety and health) that you can be praying for our family. More than anything, we really treasure your prayers as we prepare to welcome our daughter!

So today, on day 10... please be praying for restful sleep.

Lately, I have been having difficulty sleeping. Whether it's needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or my nerves that are keeping me up, I just haven't been feeling well rested in the morning. Spencer also has a lot on his plate with regard to grad school work between now and March 4th, and has a lot in the way of late nights and early mornings ahead of him this week with paper writing.

Please be praying that the sleep each of us gets at night would be solid, restful sleep so that we can go into March 4th feeling recouped, energized, and just feeling good physically.

Thank you for praying...

10 days! Pregnancy seems to be over so quickly. I ahve been reading your blog for a long time, but have never commented. I have been thinking of you and your baby girl. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers for the next 10 days (and thereafter of course.). Looking forward to the birth story. And I do hope you get some sleep in the next few days!

Praying for you all! I can't believe you only have 10 days left. I know I don't comment much (I'm such a lurker!) but I do want you to know that you are being prayed for!

Wow ten days! It will fly by I'm sure. Lots of prayers for restful sleep although being 9 mos pregnant I'm not sure that's ever possible!! I always took a tylenol pm and that got me a good 6 hours. Very exciting countdown!

I will be praying for restful sleep for the next 9 nights. You will need it for sure once little Eliana is here. Try to get as much rest as you possibly can - maybe you can even squeeze in some naps in the afternoon when you get home from work.

I can't wait to meet her.

Amazing that it is just around the corner! I started reading your blog shortly before my now 17 mo. old was born. ( I have 4 kids, but have had 3 miscarriages.)
I will be praying for restful sleep for you- at least solid, quality sleep even if you cannot get the quantity! Seems to be the body's way of preparing Mom's for those night time feedings!
We will be praying for all of your requests! Best wishes to you!

I'm counting the day with you (but for a different reason). I am praying that you both and rested and peaceful when Eliana b-day approaches.

I will be praying for you. I always said that with each of my pregnancies that the fitful nights towards the end were God's way of preparing me for being up with my little ones. Enjoy every moment- awake or asleep! I wish (and pray) for you all the best!

I can't believe March is that close. We are sending lots of good sleep energy your way (because it might be the last good sleep you get in a while)!

It's funny, I was telling my coworker tonight, just 10 more days!!! I hope you both get some restful sleep, as restful as it can be with the potty trips, and anxiety. We're thinking of you!
